Gift Basket!

Here are some cute pictures of Mom and Dad! I know that most of the people who will see this post have already seen these, but I really like them. Also the gift basket that they are holding is one that I made in my floral design class. The pictures don't really do it justice. I think that it turned out pretty cute!

I'm Posting

I was talking to my dad and he told me that I don't update my blog enough, so here I am posting. I don't really have anything too exciting going on in my life besides being sick. I got a stomach bug yesterday morning. I woke up around 4:30 AM and threw up and then again at 6:30 AM and threw up. I tried to take a shower in the morning and I literally couldn't stand in the shower for 30 seconds before I had to sit down because I was so light headed. Anyways, to make a long story short I slept on and off most of the day yesterday and could not make it to class in the morning or work that night because I could not stand up for more than 5 minutes without needing to sit down. I didn't eat anything yesterday because just the smell or look of food made me sick. I feel better today, not 100% better, but much better. I even went to work tonight although it was a bit hard. Well sorry about the details, but that's about all in my life right now.

My Floral Design Class

This semester I am in a floral design class and so far I really like it. Today we had our first lab and here is the bouquet that I designed and wrapped. Just remember this is my first time ever doing this:)

I love walking!

I've found that walking is good for me. It is therapeutic to my soul. I can think and pray while walking; i can talk on the phone while walking. I can be alone (at least somewhat:) And the most important of all I can get some good exercise.

I gave a talk today!

Today I had to give a talk on moving forward with faith. I think that I needed to give this talk as I figure out what to do with my life after I graduate. It lasted about 10 minutes and it is over with. That's about all I can say about that is, it is over with. As I was talking to Lara tonight she said that she's a little worried because Matt, Kristina and I have had to give talks recently. She's afraid that she is next:)
I will say that I think my talk went all right. I had a little trouble speaking at some points, but I think it was fine. Well that's all.

The first day of my last semester!

So today was the first day of my last semester of university (hopefully)! I just looked on my transcript online and for some reason it is not showing two classes that I've taken that counted towards my major before, but now are not there. That scares me. Tomorrow I have an appointment with my advisor to see what the issue is. Hopefully we'll be able to figure it out, otherwise I will cry. I have to graduate in April. I am what people call an "eternal student." I've been in school quite a while now (I won't mention any numbers, 11 semesters). And I need to graduate. Well if anyone has any words of encouragement as I start my last semester that would be greatly appreciated. Even though I am waaaaay excited about graduating, I also don't know what I will do with my life after I graduate. (Sorry I've probably mentioned this before, but I just have to mention it again).
