The Parthenon and Grand Ole Opry House

Today was a gorgeous day outside! Sunny, blue skies with a nice temperature and low humidity.

My brother and I went to church in Nashville this morning and not too far from the building was The Parthenon. We decided to go there after church.

The Parthenon was in such a lovely location, in the center of a park in Nashville! It is a full scale replica of the original Parthenon in Greece.

Make way for goslings!

The Parthenon is an art museum. We didn't go inside, but it was cool to see the outside.

Since my brother was with me I actually got some photos of myself that weren't selfies. :)

In the same park as The Parthenon was a Tennessee Woman Suffrage Monument. I am so grateful for the persistence of the ladies that fought for the right for women to vote until they won!

It was so cool to see The Parthenon! I'm glad I got to walk around it and the surrounding park.

Later in the day, I went to Grand Ole Opry House by myself. I just walked around the outside today but plan on taking a tour there on another day.

I'm excited to take the tour of the Grand Ole Opry House soon and to explore more of Nashville!
