Old Town Alexandria!

I was supposed to work today but the website I needed to work from home wasn't working on my computer so I went to Old Town Alexandria with some family members instead.

Our first stop was the Torpedo Factory. I love the Torpedo Factory! We didn't stay very long but we saw some beautiful and interesting pieces of art. :)

Some family members were hungry so we went to find a place to eat. We saw a sign for Bilbo Baggins restaurant and decided we wanted to try that but a long the way found this barbeque place and went there instead. :)

It was a good choice! The food was delicious! I got brisket and it was tender and flavorful!

After lunch we found the Spite House. Apparently where this house is used to be an alley way. The owner of the alley didn't like wagons and pedestrians using the alley as a shortcut to another street, so he built a house here. It's only 7 feet wide.

Lara had looked up some places for treats and this place got good reviews. I got strawberry basil at Nicecream and it was soooo good! It was a good combination of flavors. :)

We headed back to the water front and found this cool mirror sculpture. I didn't get a good full picture of it, but it was pretty fun! Depending on how far away you were from the mirrors, you looked different.

All of us who went to Alexandria!

We had a time limit on where we parked so it was time to head back to the car. It was a lovely day full of good company, delicious food and fun scenery. :)
