About a month ago, one of my boss's mentioned about a 50/50 challenge in 2012. The challenge is to read 50 new books and watch 50 new movies in 2012. They don't have to be new release movies or books, but they just have to be ones you've never seen or read before.
Although I don't think watching 50 new movies will be so bad, the 50 new books seems a bit harder to me. Technically that's about a book a week and I am only on book 4. I like to read but I go through phases of reading lots of books and not reading very much. But I am working on it and I think I can do it (or at least get close to it or at least read more books than I did last year.)
I know it's a little late start, but does anyone want to join me in the challenge or set your own goals for reading and movie watching?
Also my boss actually made a blog where we can post about the books and movies that we read and watch. You can read the blog and if you feel so inclined you can be invited to the blog and post on it too. Here's the link to the blog. Or you can just talk to me about it. Either way.
Well I think that is all for now.

I think I could read 50 books but not watch 50 movies. I will see what I can do though.
50 movies is about 10-12 years worth. 50 books is doable-maybe not for me. Mom is probably up to 5 books a week on her new Kindle.
Well, I've already watched 50 movies this year (that's what happens when you can't find a full-time job and have access to one of the best libraries in the universe.)
On the other hand, I've only read five full novels (along with bits and pieces of some non-fiction books.) Historically, I read about 30 novels a year, so I doubt I'll make that goal.
