I miss Taiwan! I think about it everyday. A little piece of my heart was left in Taiwan. I met some awesome people while I was there. Here are a few of them. (Most of this post was written not long after I got back from Taiwan in January so the time references are from then).
Elna and I switched off teaching the Gospel Principles class every other week. Elna is married and has two adorable daughters. She's from the Philippines. She's only been a member for a couple of years and she is amazing! I love this lady!
Amy oh Amy! Amy is 17. She is my friend! She came over to our house quite a bit. She is hilarious! She is one of the most thoughtful people I know.
This is my friend, Joseph. He's 17 years old and he is hilarious! He loves speaking English and he is sooooo funny! I don't know how to express how funny this boy is :)
Tiffany just got baptized about a month or two ago! She was one of my university students and we got to go to her baptism! She is one of the nicest people ever! She is always so happy and she is a good example to all those around her!
Amy and Tricia! Tricia was my old roommate in Provo the semester right before my mission. We became really good friends in Provo and I got to see her three times while I was in Taiwan! Yay!
Linda, our cook at school! She is so funny and spunky! Although she didn't speak very much English and all of us teachers knew very, very little Chinese, we became friends with her. She is so funny and she is an amazing cook!
My university students! This isn't all of them, but some of them! They all are so unique and awesome in their own way!
My 2As. Oh how I love them! They were a talkative little group but they were awesome! They're smart kiddos!
My 5As. The very different personalities they each had made the class very interesting! They're awesome!
Our boss Sherry! I learned a lot from her and am grateful for the chance she gave me to go to Taiwan and teach at her school.
We became friends with the 7-11 ladies. There was a 7-11 near our school that we went to often and these two girls were always there! We all cried saying goodbye to them. Seriously.
Grace! She was one of Liz's university students. I've talked about her in this post and this post. She is awesome!
The grocery store lady. I do not know her name, but she was always so kind to us. Neither of us spoke each others language but she tried to help us learn Chinese. She is so cute!
My awesome roommates and "fellow foreign people." :) Liz, Karyn, Kailey and I!

What a wonderful experience for you!
Love all the pictures, although I was disappointed not to see a self-portrait in there. At first I wasn't even sure it was your blogpost.
Such beautiful people and awesome kids! No wonder you left your heart in Taiwan...what an amazing place.
