Taiwan-The First Two Days!

On the airplane almost to Taipei! A very happy moment after such a long plane ride!

This is in the city of Taichung, (a neighboring city to Changhua!) Look at all of those scooters! They went on for a long time.

A common street scene in the city of Taichung (besides me:)!

We think this is a sign for an election, but we're not sure. I think it's funny how big his head is compared to his body.

I love the little blue creature on top of this gas station!

We ate lunch at Costco one day and this is inside of it. Look at the cool escalator in the background that you can take your cart on with you :)

I like the curvyness of this bridge!

We ran into fairgrounds in Taichung! We thought the pink statue in the background was humorous :)

A scene from the nighttime!

All of these pictures were taken in Taichung (except the first one)! Don't worry, I'll take pictures of my city too!

I love it here so far! It's an awesome place!

I plan on doing a separate post for the Modern Toilet Restaurant! :)

I Heart the Sky!

This is in Virginia on one of the last days I was there!

This is on the airplane back to Utah!

This is in Utah!

This also is in Utah!

Isn't the sky beautiful?!

I Miss Virginia!

But mainly I miss my family there.

Thank you Lara and Glen and Spence and Cami and Emma and Adam and Ellie for letting me stay with you this past year!

I am so grateful for the time I spent in Virginia and being able to see Lara and Glen and family everyday and to see Pete and Mika and family and Matt and Karey and family about once a month or so. You all are awesome!

(Sorry some of the pictures of me are kind of scary) (Also I didn't get pictures with everyone. Please don't feel left out :)

College of William and Mary!

The day after I went to Baltimore I went to Williamsburg to meet up with one of my friends from Utah. I met my friend, Amanda, at the Prime Outlet Mall there and we wandered around for a couple of hours. (And no, I did NOT buy anything.) I parted ways with Amanda and one of her other friends who met us there.

And I decided to drive through Colonial Williamsburg and then I stopped at the College of William and Mary. Here are some of pictures from the day! Unfortunately I did not get any pictures with my friend.

This is the style of all of the buildings on the campus of the College of William and Mary! Isn't it beautiful?!

Walkway between buildings!

I think this was the administrative building or something! I really liked this building!

Me in front of the administrative building thingy!

The huge fields in the middle of the campus! (You can see people in the picture that look like dots. It shows how huge the fields are!)

Traveling alone, I take lots of self-portraits! Hope you don't mind ;)

Don't worry I was stopped at a light when I took this picture :)

The drive home! The drive to Williamsburg and back was the longest road trip I've been on by myself. Honestly I kind of liked it! I chose whether to crank up the music or have silence, whether to turn on the air conditioning or roll down the windows.

Thank you Glen and Lara for letting me use your car so that I could make this little trip to Williamsburg to see my friend!
